Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Sculpting Concealer Review
Product Description
Too Faced’s Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is an updated formulation of the brand’s original (much more coolly received) Born This Way Concealer. Like its predecessor, this product boasts a creamy formula with a few notable differences. First of all, the coverage on this is pretty much full, almost opaque. Once set, it also goes into a very soft, very comfortable matte that really lasts through the day. There are a few primary downsides to this product, though. First, the packaging is much bulkier than most concealer products, so it’s definitely not as makeup-kit-friendly. Because of the opacity of the product, it’s also very easy to overapply the product, which creates a sort-of ashy cast over the affected areas. Finally, if not set properly, this product creases very easily. But ultimately, we think it’s a fantastic concealer, and it’s a product we can highly recommend.

A new star is born within Too Faced’s reputable roster of products with the Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer. The name is a bit of a mouthful, but with such a great concealer, who wouldn’t get this enthusiastic about naming it?

The rich coverage this product is able to provide very easily outshines a vast majority of concealers in the beauty world today. This concealer has set itself up as a formidable rival for the perpetual holy grail, the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer (which we’ve reviewed here on the site before). But apart from the actual coverage, this product also gets an easy, comfortable matte finish, as well as a fantastic wear time.

It definitely still has its downsides, though. The packaging, of course, is much bulkier than so many concealers out there by a large margin, so it’s not as portable. Also a concern is the ease with which one can overuse the product—so much so that an extra touch of product can mean the difference between a natural but full coverage, and looking just plain ashy.

As for us, we can confidently, wholeheartedly recommend this concealer. It’s not for the faint of heart, or for people who appreciate a natural look more, but if coverage is what you need, the Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer has got you “covered.”

SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
