Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer Review
Product Description
The Hangover Replenishing Face Primer is Too Faced’s solution to the ever-dreaded “beauty hangover.” This powerful primer might go on a little thick at first, but once it’s blended into the skin, it works absolute wonders. Somehow, without feeling heavy or silicone-like, it evens out the texture of the skin, even grants a little bit of oil control, and best of all, it allows a much better wear time for your makeup—a combination of properties that not a lot of primers can manage.

The Hangover Replenishing Face Primer from Too Faced is one of those products that’s been touted as something of a miracle cure for days where you’re plagued by “beauty hangover”: a perennially vexing issue wherein your skin just doesn’t look or feel right with makeup on.

When we initially put the product on, we were a little taken aback at how silky it felt. This texture definitely went a long way in ensuring the smoothness of this product’s application because it’s so easy to blend out and get a more-than-sufficient coat of product on your face. This product also does wonders for the very texture of the skin. While it’s not a complexion product, this brings the skin to a nice level of smoothness for creating the perfect canvas upon which makeup goes. This primer even dabbles just a little bit in oil control, giving the right amount to make sure you don’t have to worry about going about your day with a shiny forehead because no one likes a shiny forehead. In the end, all this primer’s properties come together to extend the product’s wear time by a lot.

Besides its pretty high price point, our only other complaint about this product has to be that it has a tendency to go on a little thicker than we’d like, creating a bit of a white cast effect that we’re not really too fond off. But then again, that’s not really too much of an issue when you’re wearing a complexion product that provides a little bit more in the way of coverage.

White cast or not, this product undoubtedly delivers a fantastic priming experience. It has an almost magical power of making you look your best on days when you feel quite the opposite about your appearance.

SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
