With the Brow Blade Ink Stain + Waterproof Pencil, you’re one step closer to your perfect brows. This product has two ends: a liquid felt-tip side, as well as a retractable pencil for filling in the “bald” spots of the eyebrows. We totally were impressed and delighted by this Urban Decay product, and there are plenty of reasons why.
On the good end of things, first and foremost, we have to point out the pigmentation of this product. We really enjoy how easy it is to get color out of this product, no matter which side you’re using. And the colors are just intense enough to give good coverage without looking overtly artificial and manufactured. We were also awestruck at how easy it was to get this product to apply precisely. This is probably also related to how consistent the product is, but because there wasn’t a lot of back-and-forth that needed to be done. The result is natural-looking and very neat brows. Also of note is how sweat-proof it is, meaning you don’t have to worry about the product breaking down when you’re beginning to get sweaty. Finally, and probably also related, is how fantastic the wear time of the product is because it doesn’t disappear very quickly. So that’s the good here.
On the flip-side, it also has some minor, easy-to-rectify issues. Of course, we understand that a product like this one only two sides, but we were just a little bit taken aback by the fact that this product does not have a spoolie, so you’re gonna have to do that work on your own. This eyeliner also does have some tendencies to get a little heavy and waxy throughout the day, but honestly, we believe your makeup will last.
We breathed a sigh of relief when we realized that the Brow Blade Ink Stain + Waterproof Pencil was not a dud. It’s a solid product with a mostly unique concept that it sticks to, and it just does what it does really effectively.
