Flower Beauty Brow Vixen Tattoo Effect Stain Review
Product Description
We have our issues with the Brow Vixen Tattoo Effect Stain from Flower Beauty, but we’re more than happy with the way it performs when it’s in optimal working condition. The pigmentation in this product is intense, and the product lasts a very long time once applied and dried down. Though it requires a very light, gentle hand (because of the strength of the color) and the applicator has a nasty tendency to dry up, we still very much appreciate the way this product works.

Thus far, Flower Beauty has proven itself to be a solid brand with some very unique formulations. This is a pattern that’s continued in the Brow Vixen Tatto Effect Stain.

This being a drugstore product, it’s very affordable, but that’s not even the best part about this fantastic eyebrow “marker.” The unique, almost marker-like applicator of this product is a godsend. It has great firmness, and just the right breadth to fill in most eyebrow shapes and sizes properly. The pigmentation of the product is also a highlight. The color instantly has the perfect level of opacity in just one swipe so you don’t have to go over a certain spot over and over again just to even out the color. This product is also very long-wearing. Flower Beauty wasn’t kidding when they said “tattoo” because this product does not budge—unless of course you actually take active steps to rub the stuff off which, why would you?

There are a few things we have to point out about this eyebrow marker, though. They’re not major, but they’re issues that might come up while you’re using this product. First, because of the strength of the pigmentation, there’s a tendency for the color to go on a little bit too thick. You won’t get intense caterpillar-like Sharpie brows or anything, but it might just be a little thick for your taste so make sure you go in with a relatively light hand. Second, and this was a big annoyance to us when we first tested the product: the product sometimes dries up in the middle of application—normally, while you’re doing your second eyebrow. You’re definitely going to have to do a little shaking to make the product come out in case this happens, so look out for that.

Overall, this is a solid brow product, and certainly unlike many of the products in the current beauty market that we’ve seen. We definitely have our issues with it that keep us from fully embracing this product, but the results of this product (when it’s in optimal working condition) are truly stunning.

SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
