Despite the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil looking like it has all the ingredients for a hit product, it regrettably turns out to be a miss. While its range of colors—from classics like black to brights like blue, purple and pink—is absolutely enviable, this product leaves too much to be desired at its $22.00 price point (for a pencil). The “24/7” this product advertises itself as is, unfortunately, not to be, sometimes disappearing in as little as three hours from wear time, even with the proper eye priming. The formulation is also too soft for more precise techniques, and can cause smudging throughout the day. Overall, perhaps it is worth a try if you’re going for the brighter colors for a more graphic look, but if you’re looking for a go-to everyday pencil, perhaps look elsewhere.

The Urban Decay brand is famous for some of its most effective and iconic products, including the Eyeshadow Primer Potion and the All-Nighter Setting Spray. Unfortunately, the 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil will probably be not joining those ranks because of its problematic formulation. Despite the vastness of its shade range, it has too many issues to overcome before it can become a truly great eyeliner pencil.
