Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette Review
Product Description
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand is still relatively new to the eye make-up game, and that’s pretty abundantly clear in their Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette. While not an irredeemable effort by any means, the palette does, in its current state, leave much to be desired, especially on the formulation end of things. Fenty Beauty told a rich, compelling color story with this palette’s offerings—hence the hype leading up to its release—but once swatched and/or applied, a lot of these shades tend to look muddy, especially the matte shades. The more shimmery shades, on the other hand, have a tendency to wear out after just a few hours of wear time, especially if the eye primer being used isn’t as tacky as Fenty Beauty’s own eye primer. But that’s definitely not to say this palette isn’t worth a try. With the aforementioned color story and a great range of shades and finishes to play with, the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette is still a great addition to soft glam looks or everyday makeup routines.

Ever since Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand burst onto the scene, it’s been very well known for the fantastic formulation of its Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation and its signature Match Stix and Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter lines. Now that the brand is branching out into more types of makeup, it’s experiencing some growing pains, which is evident in its Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette. Though it has its issues, the product is solid and well thought-out, and still a worthy addition to any collection, especially if you’re a fan of the brand.
