It’s always been curious that Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand has never put out a bronzer product, especially with the brand’s focus on getting a healthy, tanned look. But after years of waiting, it finally happened: Fenty Beauty’s own bronzer. The Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer is determined to give you a natural tanned look that carries a healthy glow with it in order to make you look your best.
Though there are only eight shades in this product line, the bronzer provides a good number of options in terms of skin tone depth and undertone, so it’s very much a customizable experience, very unlike the one-shade-fits-all approach many brand have taken to create bronzers (that, more often than not, look orange on a good number of people).
This bronzer is able to do so much for your look. First, once applied onto the skin, this product makes the skin look gorgeous. There’s a great balance between the way it leaves skin looking tanned, but also glowing. The powder product is also extremely blendable. You’ll find that harsh, unconvincing lines won’t be too much of a problem to get rid of with this product. The finish is also so smooth and satiny, adding a layer of comfort to an already gorgeous product.
Our only significant issue with this product is that it’s a little bit more glittery than we expected. We though that, like many other products, once the bronzer sets, the glitter would disappear or “dissipate,” but that wasn’t the case with this one. The glitter was a bit too significant for our taste, which kind of ruined the natural glow the product is meant to be going for.
Otherwise, this is a thoroughly enjoyable bronzer to use. For a first try by Fenty Beauty, this bronzer is actually quite solid, and it’s easy to want to reach for this product over and over again.
