The Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer was the sole lip product (and with only one shade!) of the Fenty Beauty line when their initial collection first dropped in 2017. Since then, it has received two more shades, and has only grown in popularity. It’s not particularly difficult to see why.
The claim of the product back when it only had one shade was that the shade was basically “one size fits all.” It’s easy to dismiss this kind of statement as simply dubious, but luckily, it stayed true to its word. And now that it has even more shades available, the customizability adds a certain level of excitement to a product that has such a bare shade range.
In addition to great color, this product is also so easy to use. Application goes very smoothly, without much need for continuous back-and-forth. But in case you do want a thicker coat of product, the product layers quite well, without making your lips feel too heavy or sticky, as some lip glosses would. You also get a good amount of moisturizing action with the product, and the wear time is just the cherry on top of this cake.
The biggest complaint people have had about the product is that the applicator is a little bit too thick for some people’s lips, but that’s small potatoes, and nothing that some finessing can’t fix.
Overall, this is just such an exciting product on the market, and we can’t wait for Fenty Beauty to do more with this line of products.
