“Neutral” doesn’t always mean “boring.” This is what Natasha Denona proves with her All Neutral Biba Eyeshadow Palette. With this particular set, the internationally renowned makeup artist delivers a set of wonderful colors that redefine how great a set of neutrals can be made to look.
This eyeshadow palette is built with a great, logically flowing color story in mind. Each of the shades of the palette serve a clear purpose (or even multiple clear purposes). The palette is also rich with a variety of finishes, specifically mattes, shimmers (without chunky glitters), and pearls. With all the colors and finishes you get out of this palette, it’s possible to create a multitude of endlessly fascinating looks. This is what strikes us the most about this palette, and makes us love this palette that much more. Beyond the actual colors, the textures of these products also makes this palette a lot of fun to use. These shadows are so easy to work and blend because of how creamy all the shades feel, even the mattes. The shadows in this palette also do get a great amount of wear time, even without the use of a shadow primer.
Our main problems with this shadow aren’t with the actual product formulation. Besides the almost-absurd price point of this product (even if you do get a good amount of versatile product out of this set), our concern is that some of the shades are pretty dupable. Not all, but a good number of the shades are shades you can find in some other palettes. In an eyeshadow as expensive as this one, it’s a little disappointing, but what can we expect from a product that’s all about the neutrals, after all?
All-in-all, we see this product as a true investment. Yes, it’s pricey, but there’s so much one can do with this product. Definitely worth the pretty penny you’ll have to spend.
SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
