Maybelline FaceStudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit Review
Product Description
Maybelline’s attempt at a blush palette is actually pretty great. The FaceStudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit is a solid effort from the brand that has well-curated colors and a formula with some strong qualities. While the blush formula probably isn’t our favorite, we still think it’s a pretty good dtugstore alternative to some of the more expensive blush palettes you can get out there. If you need a budget-friendly option, this should be the right pick.

The FaceStudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit is a more budget-friendly blush palette option from iconic drugstore brand Maybelline. This product features a trio of berry-toned blushes with varying degrees of deepness as well as one highlighter.

By design, this kit is extremely travel-friendly. The fact that it contains different products helps reduce the amount of items you have to travel with, but it’s also the product’s ultra-light case that makes it truly so. We’re also very happy about the shade curation for this product. Each color isn this palette is strong and absolutely gorgeous in its own way. Also worthy of praise is how blendable the product is, making it easy for the wearer to sheer the product out for a nice moderately natural flush.

We do have a few complaints about this product, though—specifically in the way it’s formulated. First, both the highlighter and the blushes in this set are a little too powdery for our taste. This makes the application just a little bit messy, which can make it a hassle to use. Second, this product is not the most long-lasting, and in fact, tends to wear out sometime after the first four hours, which means extra things to touch up throughout the day.

For a drugstore blush palette, this is definitely a pretty good showing from Maybelline. Maybe we won’t be reaching for it too much, but it’s definitely a comfort knowing it’s around, and ready to make us feel beautiful.

SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
