The Amrezy Highlighter is a collaboration between internet personality Amrezy and the beloved Anastasia Beverly Hills brand. Before its release, this product had a lot of hype going for it, and it hasn’t quite died down since because, in our opinion, it’s such a beautiful product.
First of all, the packaging of this highlighter is absolutely stunning. The look of the entire thing, rose gold accents and all, sells this product’s fantasy, and we appreciate that it’s got a little bit of weight to it so it doesn’t feel like the run-of-the-mill simple, flimsy plastic packaging. But the real treasure here is what’s inside the lovely exterior. The actual highlighter is in powder form, and it’s the kind of powder that’s both finely milled but also particularly stable so it’s quite easy to pick up without leaving an absolute mess. Once applied, this highlighter provides a perfectly balanced intensity, both in terms of color and luminosity. It’s one of those highlighters that you know is there because you can see it and it looks quite lovely, but it doesn’t look overwhelming or tacky—the perfect glow. And as an added bonus, this highlighter feels so light on the skin as well!
Now, there are two things that we have to point out about this product, but neither of them really have to do with its formula, thankfully. First, this is quite pricey for a highlighter, which is par for the course for ABH, so we’re not particularly surprised or anything. Second, because the product is a limited edition influencer collaboration, it’s stocked a little more sparsely, and even then, only at very specific retailers, so you might have to wait a little while to get your hands on this gem.
To be honest, this product’s downsides… don’t really bother us all that much. It may just be us, but we find this to be such an enjoyable and reliable product that we’re willing to let those things about it slide. Overall, we’re just really happy with the way this highlighter performs for us, and we have a feeling you will, too.
