The Fit Me Matte + Poreless by Maybelline is a much more expensive foundation masquerading as a drugstore product. There’s a reason Maybelline’s Fit Me line is so well-regarded by beauty enthusiasts, regardless of where they are in the world.
In terms of formula, this foundation is so easy to blend out and sheer out, and in general, make look ultra natural on the skin. The finish is also desirable, as it’s matte, but not so matte that it feels like a rubber mask glued on the face.
The Achilles heel of this foundation would probably have to be the lack of a pump. In many cases, with a more controlled opening, this wouldn’t even be an issue, but with the jar mouth of the product, it causes a big ol’ mess, and in some cases, ends up wasting a lot of product.
But regardless of this oversight, this is clearly a holy grail-worthy foundation—both for the quality of the product, and the price at which you can get it.
