“Do You Love Me?” was written on the back of a fuchsia pink t-shirt from Enfants Riches Déprimés’ latest line. Well, we might love who’s ever going to wear that piece, we certainly don’t love the shirt itself! We’re not exactly sure what Henri Levy was trying to convey with his latest line, but we can assure you it didn’t go well at all. After seeing his Fall 2019 collection, we’re left wondering what exactly was the point in all of this? This was just another array of elevated basics highly-stylized in an attempt to conjure up a cool and edgy attitude. Seriously, this gimmick is over and done with! We didn’t see anything special about those nylon button-downs, decorated white-shirts, and zip-up hoodies. Though the styling was kind of cool—especially that pairing of a lace-trimmed silk teddy paired with a navy tailored jacket—everything else about it was seriously pedestrian. Go to a vintage store and you’d find pieces infinitely better than this lot, and at more accommodating prices too! All in all, this was a weak offering from what could have been a major player in the streetwear game this season!
