As most brands are going the sustainable route to click with the modern times, it’s become increasingly difficult for a number of them to stand out. Fortunately for Nicholas K, she did so with elegant ease this season. With her brother and design partner Christopher Kunz, she elevated eco-friendly fashion to a new height of sophistication in her Fall 2019 collection. Impeccable draping and intelligent hybridizing of different pieces which allow their women to rework the items any way they want while still looking refined and chic. With a few twists and ties here and there, a tan knitted sweater dress can go from a turtle-neck for the day to an alluring off-the-shoulder frock for the evening. The same goes for some wide trousers, in it that they can transform into elegant maxi skirts when worn a different way. It also helped that the fabrications were so fine and fresh. That alpaca wool on the long hooded vest and the stark linen on the more structured garments looked so strong, we can barely handle it! This is the type of natural fashions most brands should be doing today. Not only do they push the right narratives, but they also took the brand forward into a more fabulous future!
