To those women out there who want to dress up like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you’ll only need to buy into Haney‘s latest collection and you’re all set! The brand’s Fall 2019 offering had the tackiness and the overt sexiness usually displayed on such reality TV series. In fact, we won’t be surprised if most, if not all these pieces would appear on the said show itself. And while we have nothing against the Real Housewives, this collection is certainly atrocious. It’s like Mary Alice Haney didn’t even try this season. She likened this sleek selection to Tom Ford‘s style, her purported idol, but there’s no comparison at all. You can say that this is a cheaper version of Ford’s fashions, but even that is too generous a remark. We get it, Haney is all about California glamour and sex appeal. But there are many ways to go about them without having to return to overused tropes and tacky cocktail-wear signatures. While sexy, these clothes are just boring and basic. You’d find more interesting stuff in a vintage store than in this lot!
