Ever partied on a weekday and went straight to work right after? Rosetta Getty knows such a lifestyle and skewed her latest line for those nightclub-hopping working women. In an elegant convergence of daywear and evening-wear, her Fall 2019 was a mish-mash of versatile looks that, rather than taking women from day-to-night, would actually take them from night-to-day. What impressed us the most about this fabulous line was the fluidity of it all, from the shimmering silk separates to the cozy cashmere knitwear. Each piece was refined to a degree that it evoked a sense of sophistication even though some weren’t your standard evening items. A cream-colored pajama-like ensemble in fine silk crepe is the perfect look that encapsulated the whole collection to a tee. It had the ease of a day suit but had the shimmer of an evening ensemble. A bitonal tan and black dress, on the other hand, calls to a mind a certain duality in a modern woman’s lifestyle. It’s also exceptionally chic and refined. Overall, we’ll give this line a solid A-, not just for the interesting concept, but for the fine executions!
