With tailoring as the newest trend on the scene, it looks like Theory is poised to benefit from it. Tailoring has always been a huge part of this contemporary brand, particularly with its office-wear roots. Their Fall 2019 collection is no exception and, in fact, seems to be a display of what real high-quality tailoring looks like, but in a more streetwear sense. This season, creative director Martin Andersson pushes a straightforward narrative of sleek and slick silhouettes. The cut is so precise that the way they flatter a man’s body is almost similar to how a bias-cut dress embraces a female form. Even a light grey puffer jacket didn’t look so bulky, which was a refreshing sight to see. The color palette consisted of rich shades of olive green and tones of red and aubergine—adding to its sophisticated vibe. If there’s a contemporary brand that will give you a bang for the buck in tailored menswear, is definitely this one, especially with this seasonal offering!
