We always love it when a designer can still bring on some surprises. This season, Rosie Assoulin pleasantly shocked us with a rather simple collection for Fall 2019. She’s always been one of those trusty couturiers that can churn out show-stopping looks perfect for the red carpet. But here, she set her eyes more on the street instead, with crisp shirt-dresses, silky separates, and the like. A nice shimmering tunic in cream looks like the perfect office piece to wear when you have an elegant affair to go to right after. A beautifully striped dress with puffy sleeves adds a tinge of romantic refinement wherever you may go in it. However, make no mistake, this offering still has its own fair share of voluminous numbers. One in a rather faded floral print is exceptionally noteworthy and is so beautiful, it might even work well as a wedding gown (despite not being white!). Overall, we’re expecting this fall to look as sophisticated as ever because of this lot!
