Morphe Cosmetics The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Review
Product Description
Morphe Cosmetics’ The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette is the brand’s collaboration with well-known YouTuber/makeup artist Jaclyn Hill. In this palette, one gets a whopping 35 shades (the standard for Morphe palettes) composed of nudes and bolds, mattes and shimmers. While it certainly is an intriguing product with plenty of variety, with a logical, well-thought-out color story that flows very well visually, the quality just isn’t there to justify getting this palette among even other Morphe palettes. Yes, it’s a good beginner palette, but once you’ve already collected quite a few palettes, not a lot of the colors in this one really, truly stand out anymore. The formulas are also a little bit dubious, as the matte shades go on a little bit chalky, and the shimmers are messy, creating too much fallout to handle reliably. Overall, for more long-time beauty enthusiasts, this product just doesn’t give you a great bang for the buck, but for beginners, it may just be the product.

The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette is the first release of the Morphe Cosmetics brand’s well-publicized collaboration with beauty influencer and makeup artist Jaclyn Hill. While the product does have a huge range of colors to use, and a well-constructed color story, and is particularly beginner-friendly, for more long-time beauty enthusiasts, the color selection isn’t all that unique. Plus, the formulas aren’t quite up to par, with chalky mattes and shimmers with plenty of fallout.
SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
