September 2022 Sales (LATEST)
Modern women don’t necessarily want to look like men, but they do want their clothes to have the same slouchy yet refined attitude like their masculine counterparts’. This explains Bassike‘s sophisticated Fall 2019 collection. In a series of easy-to-wear pantsuits, tracksuits, and sets of separates, co-founder and designer Debora Sams offered her women a whole lot of elegant ease this season. Ironically, however, her shapes are much more defined and flattering as well. With draw-stringed and D-ring-belted waists, any woman who wears the label’s enigmatic pieces can instantly highlight her figure in a nonchalant way. They make for great silhouettes to sport both in the boardroom or on the street. The pinstriped pieces are particularly noteworthy, as the lines not only accentuate and elongate the female form, but they add a kind of corporate chic that’s both posh and powerful. For those who want to relax more, linen and cashmere-made leisure separates are stunning ways to go for. We have no doubt women of many styles will want to have pieces for themselves come fall!
