The Swiss Alps has always been one of the most treasured landmarks in Switzerland, and for Fall 2019, Bally is taking it as inspiration for their menswear collection. It was all about winterwear in their latest seasonal line, from a barrage of anoraks and puffer jackets to finely-knit hoodies and scarves. Although these were technically sportswear, they seemed far from it with all the refinement enthused in each piece. There were even bits that were unexpected, such as the mint-green hooded cape and the free-form poncho-like blue coat. Such items proved to be more fashion-forward than the standard sportswear, adding a bit of drama to an otherwise industrial collection. Consequently, streetwear fans are bound to go gaga over the bright purple puffer and the myriad of backpacks—they work into the style’s urban vocabulary. So the next time winter rears its head, Bally is there to warm people up!
