Too Faced Cosmetics Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick Review
Too Faced’s Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick is a good example of what a mattifying liquid lipstick should feel like. Besides a wide selection of colors for different kinds of looks, more importantly, it’s also comfortable to wear—which is not something one can say about some other liquid lipsticks on the market right now. Whereas with other formulas, “matte” means “ultra-drying,” the Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks sit on the lips comfortably, without making the wearer feel like their lips are becoming crunchy or anything. It’s a good combination of mattifying and hydrating. The applicator is also great for people who are daunted by the idea of applying liquid lipsticks because you get a good amount of control over the amount of product you’ll be using in one application. The main drawbacks of the product are a slight chemical scent (not noticeable for everyone, and does fade once the product is applied), and it’s not transfer-proof, meaning cups will have the lipstick mark on the rims, even if your lipstick still does seem completely intact. Overall, this is a great product for both fans of liquid lipsticks, and people who do want to experiment more with liquid lipsticks.

Let’s be honest: liquid lipsticks are pretty daunting. So much so that liquid lipstick tutorials are their own sub-category of makeup tutorials. It’s a good thing then that Too Faced has created the Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick. With its wide range of colors, and a very easy, comfortable formula, this product may just be enough to quell any doubts you might have about using liquid lipsticks in your makeup routine. Definitely a product to give a shot, and try out.
SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.
- The Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick comes in a whopping 21 colors with traditional nudes and pinks, to bolder, vampier colors like purple, blue, green, and even black.
