Inspired by Dante‘s “The Divine Comedy,” Prisca Franchetti explored the concepts of hell in her latest show. Well, we sort of agree. Her Fall 2019 collection for Priscavera was a kind of fashion hell we hoped to never see ever again. We don’t mean to be harsh, but what she presented was blatantly ugly and vulgar on all fronts. There was nothing remotely fascinating about anything that was shown on that runway. The quality was horrendous, the colors were garish (albeit electric in a way), and some of the fit were straight up amateurish! To be completely frank, we’ve seen better works from students in a fashion school than this monstrosity! We don’t see any of these selling well come fall, so it’s best for Ms. Franchetti to start focusing on improving for next season instead.
