Excessive, over-the-top eyelashes are a staple in heavier glam looks, especially for photoshoots or in runway styling. Most of the time, it’s achieved using a layer of false eyelashes. But with the Pat McGrath Labs FetishEYES™ Mascara, you don’t even need those falsies anymore. This mascara works almost instantly, coating your eyelashes in a deep, rich black. The volumizing effect of this product is almost scary as your eyelashes make a full transformation from being mere wisps, to almost looking like spider legs (in the best way possible). While less pronounced, this also has a lengthening effect that doesn’t always match the level of volumizing the mascara does, but looks great nonetheless. Unfortunately, with such dramatic lashes, this mascara might not be suited for more natural looks as the illusion is easily busted. And of course, with such a rich formula, it’s natural that it tends to feel a little heavier on the eyelids than other mascaras. But with this product, if you know what you’re getting into, it’s practically perfect, and well, well worth the investment.
