Previously, Nicole Miller was one of the go-to designers for young but mature women who had business during the day and affairs to attend in the evening. Nowadays, the designer is shifting her focus to a much younger consumer audience, one that has become lucrative for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Sies Marjan. For resort 2019, Miller put forth an array of youthful looks that combined both sport and sophistication. Graphic multi-colored stripes decorated slip-on sweaters, which were then paired with pleated skirts. Lace was turned into hoodies, and a metallic pencil skirt stole the show. This season, the Nicole Miller woman was quite youthful indeed, but her silhouette remained mature. In whatever she does, Miller will always inject a bit of her signature elegance on the clothes, which was proven by this collection.
