With a name inspired by a type of fountain pen, NARS Cosmetics was banking on the Eyeliner Stylo to have rich color and precise application. This liquid eyeliner is made possible thanks to the long, flexible felt-tip applicator which it uses in order to apply the product. The product boasts both precision and strong pigmentation, making for a great experience with more difficult eyeliner techniques, like cat eyes. Unfortunatey, no product is perfect, and this product definitely has its downsides. First of all, for an eyeliner, it’s quite expensive at $28.00. This liquid eyeliner also tends to fade through long-wear situations, so there are times when one’s eyeliner (that they worked very hard for) will disappear at the end of the day, especially under more humid conditions. Overall though, this is still a really great product, and if you’re looking to invest in an ultra-precise, ultra-pigmented liquid felt-tip eyeliner, this is the one for you.

Created with both color payoff and precision in mind, this product is perfect for pulling off more difficult eyeliner looks such as the intimidating cat-eye (or actually, any winged eyeliner). It does have quite a few downsides, but overall, it’s a solid product for NARS, and a fantastic product to keep in your makeup kit.
