In 2019, luxury is subtle, sophisticated, and most importantly, sustainable. No other designer knows this better than Gabriela Hearst. In a fabulous Fall 2019 showing of precisely tailored suits (some softer than others), figure-flattering frocks, and elegant evening-wear, she provided a refined wardrobe that’ll both excite and energize modern women. Those who are climbing up the corporate ladder can do so in either the multi-toned blue ensemble of a fitted jacket, a collared pleated dress and full trousers or in a grey pinstriped pantsuit that’ll make any pair of legs look miles longer. Want to make an impact on the street? We think a lot of Hearst’s shapely coats will do, be it in black cashmere offset by gold buttons or in a colorful plaid weave that almost looks psychedelic. An ecru set of separates in wool, however, is perfect for women of leisure who just wants to enjoy life. And for the evening, any of the billowy long-sleeved numbers would be perfect! But for us, the best part about this whole line is that it’s all sustainable. From the recycled cashmere to the organically-made textiles, the fact that such elegance was achieved without harming the environment makes them even more valuable. We know that, but more importantly, the customers know that as well!
