Bottega Veneta released the Essence Aromatique in 2014. It was made available in 50, 90 and 200 ml bottles, as well as part of a body care collection. The top notes are identified as coriander and bergamot, and then some white rose, vanilla and tonka. At its base are sandalwood and patchouli.
Bottega Veneta Essence Aromatique by Bottega Veneta Review
Essence Aromatique is beautiful in the beginning, the opening featuring a soft combination of bergamot and coriander. We wished that that could have lingered longer, but then the scent develops to reveal more of a synthetic side. From the lovely opening, the scent becomes generic and underwhelming. It projects well and lasts long enough of the skin, but not really encouraging enough for another purchase.
Has a lovely opening for us, with bergamot blending beautifully with coriander
Has moderate sillage
Performs great at around eight hours
We find that it progresses into generic after a promising opening
Notes are synthetic by the drydown
