It’s difficult not to expect highly from a posh bottle and a Gucci brand, but the Gucci Premiere falls flat. The opening is promising as a luxurious smell escapes the bottle, evoking a celebratory champagne, but fails to progress into something more impressive. The base notes are wood and leather, promising a musky scent, but these are barely detected from the spray. It also doesn’t help that longevity and sillage leave much to be desired.
