Versace Eros Pour Femme by Versace Review
Description
Most of us would expect something more from such an elegant, ornate bottle, and from the price that comes with carrying the Versace name, of course, but we can’t help but feel let down by Eros Pour Femme. The beginning is too sharp for our taste even when there is a hint of sweet, the scent is barely sensual unless spritzed in hot weather, and it does not even feel like three perfumes signed the scent, and prominent ones at that. The pomegranate is one of the very few things we liked, but that is not enough to salvage Eros Pour Femme.

Positives
Elegant perfume bottle
We find that the pomegranate livens the fragrance
The sensual side of the scent reveals itself better on warmer days
Negatives
The citrusy flush in the beginning is too tangy for us
Smells cheap and generic for the price
Not very creative

Following the popularity of the masculine fragrance Eros is the counterpart for women, Eros Pour Femme, released by Versace in 2014. It was inspired by a woman’s capacity to seduce, among them the Roman god of love. The scent is enclosed by a gold flacon that has the house’s Medusa logo in front. The notes listed for it are lemon, bergamot, pomegranate, jasmine, peony, sandalwood and musk, among others. Three perfumes teamed up for it: Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson.
