Versace Yellow Diamond by Versace Review
Description
Versace’s Yellow Diamond does not quite feel as luxurious as wearing diamond jewelry would. But to us, it is just the right amount of pretty and bright. There is a citrusy-sweet opening courtesy of the lemon and the florals, soon to be enveloped by musk and woodsy notes. We think this would be easy to wear given its intimate sillage and generally cheerful vibe, even if there is something synthetic about the lemon in the opening. One more thing it has going for it is that the sweetness is toned down compared to other scents with a similar profile.

We’ve had dark in Crystal Noir, and light in Bright Crystal. In 2011, Versace released another follow-up, this time intended to be more glamorous because it should make crystal feel as luxurious as a diamond. Yellow Diamond aims to achieve such an ambitious transformation with a composition made up of lemon, neroli, bergamot, freesia, water lily, orange blossom, musk, amber and guaiac wood. It was made available in standalone 50 and 90 ml bottles, as well as alongside other personal effects.
