The Tarteist™ line is one of Tarte Cosmetics’ signature collections, and within that line comes some of the brand’s best and most popular products—the Tarteist™ PRO Glow Highlight & Contour Palette being one of them. This palette is one of Tarte’s most popular offerings in terms of contour and highlight for a reason. First of all, this palette gives you a good variety of products to play and experiment with, specifically in the highlighter department, allowing your imagination to be the only limit in the equation. The powders are smooth and vividly pigmented, which is important in the various highlighter shades provided, allowing one to go natural, glam, or even slightly vampy whenever they want. The one cream product in the bunch is contour, and unlike some contour products on the market, this one is very easily blendable, allowing for a smooth, subtle gradient. On the other hand, this product can also be a little bit overwhelming depending on one’s skill level, and may be more enjoyable for experienced users as opposed to beginners. The layouting can also be a little difficult in terms of cleaning, especially when the powder products permeate the cream contour pan, muddying up the product’s color. But otherwise, this is still a fantastic choice for a contouring kit, if you’re looking for one.
