IRO, similarly to the likes of Jeremy Scott and Olivier Rousteing, has achieved creating incredibly youthful clothing inspired by old-school references. The nonchalant mix of old and new is not new in fashion but is still challenging to perfect. Despite this, however, IRO did so with ease for spring 2019. Combing the eccentric coolness of the 1980s with the nonchalant edge of the young ones today, the brand’s latest collection is a hybrid of all the ease and softness of youth. Mini floral dresses, high-waisted jeans and trousers, monochromatic combinations, leather jackets, and distinct denim pieces are all classic 80s staples made completely contemporary thanks to IRO’s genius eye. Although the label isn’t all that big as of yet, this collection proved it has massive potential to be a global success.
