In a surprising twist, designers Ilan Delouis and Jenny Mannerheim overlooked their usually avant-garde and crazy aesthetics for a more everyday-appropriate wardrobe for Fall 2019. Their latest Each x Other line tackles the working woman’s closet and turned it on its head. What resulted was a fabulous and ultimately sublime collection of soft tailoring and easy-to-wear pieces that still had a tinge of the avant-garde the brand is known for. The suits were essentially the best part, some draped so softly that they exuded such magnitudes of sensuality and finesse, while others were crafted precisely for a more refined and distinguished look. Some stand-outs included the silver metallic number that’s perfect for a night out with the girls and another in rich chocolate-brown silk which, when styled appropriately, can work as a great wedding outfit that might just help one upstage the bride. The ease in this collection was ironically palpitating, in it that one just felt the desire to get and wear them right then and there. But alas, Each x Other fans will have to wait until fall to be able to get any of these exceptionally desirable creations for their wardrobes!
