Velvet Rose & Oud by Jo Malone London Review

Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose & Oud is a pleasant take on the oriental note, albeit a little faint than desired by those who often seek it out. We find that it is easy to wear because of this, and will not be off-putting to those who will be in close proximity to the fragrance. The Velvet Rose & Oud plays it safe from the opening to the drydown, but this comes at the cost of feeling that there is nothing unique about it. It might interest those who are seeking to discover the wonders of oud, but not so much for those who are long familiar with the note.
