No matter what day it is, a watch will still tell the time. Some owners, however, only wear certain timepieces on special occasions, not because of its daily function, but because of its design and style. For a lot of them, watches are luxurious items only for glamorous events, similarly to how women treat diamond jewelry and haute couture evening dresses. Still, a gentleman needs a fine watch to wear for the everyday, and the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time is just the piece.
Release Date & Price
Release Date: February 2018
Price when reviewing: US$24,700.00 – US$39,500.00
Released back in 2018, the watch has already enamored countless admirers from all over the world. Even at its price point, clients have bought one or two of the sleek, seductive, and exceptionally sophisticated timepiece.
Made out of shiny silver steel, the watch exemplifies luxury in such a clean and pristine way. There’s little to no fuss in terms of aesthetic design, but it’s full of technological advancements to rival even the finest Formula 1 car. It’s offered in either a clean white gold or rich ocean blue face, both of which looks elegant in their own unique and sophisticated way. The timepiece is also available with rose gold frames and dark-hued crocodile skin straps, perfect for the more fashionably adventurous spirit. With a sleeker silhouette, it’s more travel-friendly, which makes the purpose of it that much more needed and functional.
Despite its varied designs, however, it’s overall looks is not something people haven’t seen before. While it may be sleeker, cleaner, and arguably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the dual timepieces offered today, there’s not much different aesthetics-wise. It is geared for the everyday, so it doesn’t necessarily constitute a special design, but an element of uniqueness can make it stand out in more ways than one. With such price points, the owner deserves a one-of-a-kind piece, and while it doesn’t offer such in its overall look, its function and sleek designs can definitely make up for it.
