Sexy edginess is the name of the game over at Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini for Pre-Fall 2019. This season, he got inspired by the supermodels of the 1990s, the likes of Kate Moss, Amber Valletta, and Shalom Harlow, whose confidence both on and off the runway inspired a new brand of sexiness that would influence their current and succeeding generations. To present this line, he even got today’s version of the supermodel, CGI social media influence Noonoouri to wear some of the looks. This season was clearly about hard-edge sexy dressing, complete leather, sparkles, and fishnet stockings. The dresses were as short as can be, while hints of the more romantic side of the designer came in a few floral-printed pieces. Although the inspiration was all about the 90s, the looks were still contemporary and youthful, and they’re bound to see some retail success once they hit the stores.
