Luxury is all about comfort, and for Pre-Fall 2019, no other collection is as comfortable-looking as Nanushka. Since 2005, Sandra Sandor has been offering women highly stylized basics, reworked staples, and exquisitely tailored pieces at affordable prices through her contemporary label. However, there’s definitely romantic ease with this offering that wasn’t present in her previous collections. This may be due in part of her soft color palette, consisting of sandy shades of ecru, tan, khaki, and a few hints of dusty old rose. Such soothing tones made her tailoring look softer and elegant, even the more show-stopping pieces. A satin puffer coat and a glimmering leather trench looked austere in construction, but no doubt they’d envelop the female form as if they were embracing the wearer. For sure, a lot of women would love to be embraced by these pieces, and come fall, many of them will be!
