With so much oversized maximalism from the streetwear market and rigid tailoring from the mega luxury brands, designers Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson are bringing forth a sort of middle ground for Frame Pre-Fall 2019 Collection. This season, it’s all about the nonchalant lifestyle—promoting a sense of ease and comfort in more ways than one. Having started as a denim brand, Pre-Fall 2019 marks one of their first forays into luxury ready-to-wear, but still holding on to their California-style streetwear sensibilities. These pieces are easy to slip on, particularly the wide-legged jeans, slightly oversized shirts, and ruched day dresses. A tinge of traditional but soft tailoring came in the more business-savvy ensembles, like the khaki short shit, an olive-green set of separates, and a bubblegum pink jumpsuit. Perhaps the best part about these pieces is that they’re entirely democratic, giving the reins to the wearer on how they want to style themselves. And whichever way they do, they’ll inevitably look cool!
