September 2022 Sales (LATEST)

As far as Alessandro Dell’Acqua is concerned, streetwear is no longer trendy. At his Spring 2019 Menswear show for No. 21, there were barely any pair of sneakers of sportswear elements in sight. He instead turned his focus on tailoring and how such a look can attract the youth. The tailoring here was far from the rigid and strict techniques that are the foundations of men’s fashion in the past. The Italian designer had a softer, easier, and more relaxed look in mind. There was a touch of the 90s in the collection here, as sleek suit-separates were worn with graphic t-shirts and the more formal attire was draped and open to evoke a more sensual vibe than strictly business. The few PVC pieces, especially the exquisitely cut coats, were particular stand-outs as well. It’s too early to tell if streetwear is on its end, but No. 21 certainly doesn’t seem to mind if it already goes away.
