Apart from their vivacious fashion scene, Italy is well-known for their cinema as well. The works of great Italian designers over the years have given the world “La Dolce Vita,” a fashionable lifestyle that’s all about love and luxury. For No. 21’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection, Alessandro Dell’Acqua is giving women the chance to dress up like those legendary screen icons but with a more contemporary edge. Sensuality was the name of the game this season, as a number of his most stunning pieces were secretly suggestive but still sophisticated. A pair of shiny leather cigarette pants gave a chic 60s look, especially when paired with the red and black-striped pieces. Leopard print made for turned various looks more glamorous and seductive, by way of skin-tight pencil skirts or freeform faux fur coats. While lace, polka-dots, and fringes inspired a sense of sexual revolution. One thing that can be said about Dell’Acqua is that he’s able to bring sexy without the vulgarity—the way many women like it!
