Very Irrésistible by Givenchy Review
Description
Very Irrésistible fails to live up to its name. It is not a bad perfume per se, even if you happen to be the opposite of a floral lover. It comes on strong in the beginning, with anise and citrus lingering, but soon these will give way to patchouli and rose for a fresher scent that is close to the skin. The drydown misses the landing though with the notes blending and fading, and could be better described as bland rather than irresistible.

This polarizing Givenchy scent is released by the house in 2003, with actress Liv Tyler heading the campaign. Created with five different types of roses, this was put together by three perfumers: Carlos Benaim, Dominique Ropion and Sophie Labbe. Its other ingredients include anise and verbena leaf. Even though Very Irrésistible is not quite as unforgettable and irresistible as we would have wanted, it delivers with soothing notes that you may need to smell to go about your day.
