Description
Stetson used to be ubiquitous almost four decades ago, but we think that it could be appreciated more for its distinct smell today now that chypre scents are no longer found as often as before. While not elevated as among the classics from the ‘80s, it does have the warmth and coziness that make it a great choice for colder seasons. This does not feel that masculine to us but that is part of the appeal. It may feel a little old-fashioned, but the reformulated version should make it easier to wear.

Stetson is a blast from the past for many. Now manufactured by Coty, it was first introduced in 1981 under the Stetson brand, best remembered for their cowboy hats. While marketed for men, women can also pull it off. Its notes are listed as lime, clary sage, lemon, lavender, bergamot, patchouli, vetiver, geranium, jasmine, cedar, musk vanilla, amber and tonka bean, all of which are not out of the ordinary for the time.
