Starwalker by Montblanc Review
Description
Montblanc’s Starwalker is a scent that takes time to grow on you, although we suppose many would not have the patience to find themselves at that point. It just does not excite, and frankly, does not give us anything new despite how the bamboo accord creates a more relaxing aroma with citrusy notes. One can easily reach for it during indecisive days as it works well in an office setting or on a day when there’s not much happening. Unfortunately, it would be entirely possible to consume a bottle in a short span of time: longevity is not exceptional.

Positives
Bamboo gives a nice, relaxing touch to the usual citrusy and woodsy accords
Will not overwhelm anyone who catches a whiff
Can be worn on most seasons and occasions
Negatives
We find the sillage and wear time to be lacking
Not the most exciting masculine fragrance Montblanc has on offer

The word Starwalker may project an image of something futuristic and spacey, but this Montblanc fragrance is grounded on the earth. Its notes, which create a woody and spicy smell, are made up of the usual ingredients you’d find on a masculine scent: bergamot, mandarin orange, sandalwood, white musk, cedar, nutmeg, amber and ginger; bamboo takes the center stage. The 2005 release is now discontinued, but still has admirers for its easy-going nature. Michel Almairac is the perfumer behind the scent.
