September 2022 Sales (LATEST)

Preen Line style is difficult to define, and maybe, that’s how designers Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton want things to be. They’re known for their femininely long silhouette and eclectic use of color and textiles, but they also pile on reference after reference every season that it becomes a bit too much—in the best possible way! Just take a look at their Pre-Fall 2019 Collection, which was inspired by Janis Joplin, the works of album cover artist Reid Miles, and a souvenir from Morocco. Firstly, the lean silhouettes and layers upon layers of various prints and textiles are clearly in reference to Joplin’s bohemian style, but here, made all the more refined by way of baroque floral dresses and argyle sweater-vests. Somber tones of navy and red harken back to the iconic works of Mr. Miles, and their mysterious appeal that still lingers on to this day. And finally, the patchwork pieces evoke the exotic and ethnic feel of Morocco, a fearless fashion destination for those adventurous with style. It’s highly likely that the brand’s signature style wasn’t defined by this collection, but more and more women are sure to love all the amazing eclectic pieces from such a vibrant offering.
