When your clothes are able to stand on their own even when worn by the most famous A-list celebrities, then that means it’s a great collection. This is just what transpired during Louis Vuitton’s lookbook presentation of their Pre-Fall 2019 collection. Hollywood stars, the likes of Michelle Williams, Thandie Newton, Alicia Vikander, and more sporty Nicolas Ghesquiere‘s newest clothes that are well within their own personal styles. Many of which, through time, were developed with the assistance of the young French designer. This season, it’s all about creating looks that are fit for various and specific personalities. Each ensemble, even without the star power stood well on their own. It’s all in the mixture of different silhouettes and the deliberate clashing of prints and patterns that make each outfit as individual as the stars that wear them. Each piece has a story to tell, whether it’s an oversized flannel that’s slightly masculine in nature or the more romantic floral items with rounder silhouettes. This eclecticism is what made Ghesquiere’s Louis Vuitton incredibly successful. And it’s also what draw these big names to be part of his celebrity fanbase.
