Debuted at Hermés’ Spring 2018 collection, the bag is a modern twist to the ever reliable bucket bag. Crafted in their Evercolor calfskin, the brand manages to conceal the bulk of a drawstring.

Instead of feeding it through the usual eyelets, the drawstring is threaded through leather loops cleverly placed along the interior of the bag. That way, regardless if the top is opened or closed, the exterior remains clean and minimalist. To adjust the opening, there is a pull tab disguised as leather covered discs securing the bag handle.

The multicolored strap, which is crafted from both Evercolor and Swift calfskin, is meant to complement the bag’s body, regardless of the color selected. Unfortunately, the strap is neither removable or adjustable and can only be used as a shoulder bag.

The bucket bag also features palladium-plated hardware and an interior pocket and comes in two sizes: 17 and 19. It is available in a variety of color ways.

With its deceptive simplicity and roomy interiors, this bag is perfect for everyday use.
