Giorgio Armani will always stand for elegance, despite whatever trends other labels are following. In fact, his spring 2019 collection is proof of such integrity. This season, he presents an aquatic sophistication that’s both magical and mystical. Magical in his kaleidoscope-like use of colors with the seafoam greens, ocean blues, shimmering silvers, and the surprising pops of pink. Yet also mystical with the soft and sheer fabrics that enveloped the models’ bodies, giving the illusion of sparkling water waving through the dim-lit runway. Arguably, Giorgio Armani is the most sophisticated fashion house today, and the maestro himself is showing off that his label deserves the title.
