Say what you want about Dolce and Gabbana’s repetitive style, but there’s no denying that they know their customers by heart. Their spring 2019 show during Milan Fashion Week proved that no matter how different you are, you still have a piece that’s perfect for you. Each model, one more different than the next, wore a look that was tailor-fitted to their shape and true to their style. Only Monica Bellucci and her voluptuous body could fill up her polka-dotted dress as sexy as she can. Only Carla Bruni-Sarkozy can combine her Italian edginess with her adopted French coolness in her baroque pantsuit The designers’ muses and their families walked the runway with smiles all around—a testament to their worth in the fashion industry in all these years.
