Black Opium by YSL Review
Description
Black Opium may be different from its predecessor, the classic Opium by Yves Saint Laurent, but it will not disappoint the senses. The fragrance lists notes of pink pepper, orange blossom and jasmine while being grounded by coffee, which together create a warm, sensual scent. Coffee isn’t as prominent as desired, but the dry down hints on patchouli and cedarwood. It has great projection without being overly offensive, and has excellent longevity.

Released in 2014, Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent was made as a darker interpretation of an already classic fragrance, and that is reflected on the black, sparkly bottle. Due to its strength and warmth, the eau de parfum available in 30, 50 and 90 ml is ideal for use during evenings and winters.
